Truthfully a new hospital that would not only treat the Native Americans in this region, but they should also have it as a Veteran medical center as well. Instead of a small rinky dink clinic that they say will help and all they do is just make you feel frustrated. Right now we have Gallup Indian Medical Center which serves the Navajo people here along with other native Americans since it is part of the IHS Indian Health Service. Plus Gallup is considered the most patriotic small town in the United States and you would think there would be better care for Veterans as well, especially those that are in need of better mental health.
Of course I know from experience that mental health is nothing you want to fuck with because it can send you in every direction, while trying to stay sane and continue with everyday life. Well I have had to endure about 13 years of no help whatsoever in that area that eventually got worse and now I am completely damaged. Just like Joker has a tattoo on his forehead. I have fought for over 25 years on getting all the benefits that I needed and finally accomplished that just by myself, which I know is not easy, but it is a known fact that “patience” is a virtue. Years of sitting in the truck has taught me that and people know that I am one that could wait you out.
Right now the hospital that I attend is so old it was erected in 1955 when the roads here were just dirt, no pavement whatsoever. Over the years it has grown, but all they do is build upon it rather than just getting a brand new hospital like they did in Kayenta and I should know because when I used to work I was working in that new hospital to prepare the operating systems that would be used at this facility especially working as an IT Specialist! Now getting a hospital like that would make a huge difference and more than likely this little town I live near would be a place to go for help. When I worked at GIMC they were planning on breaking ground in various areas and from what I heard they just decided to build up and outward. I mean this place is haunted for sure and it’s just sad. Funny that I put my point on what my answer would be for these questions, but when I write serious stuff, no one reads that, so I guess I have to grow from my truthful answers. Which is fine because I have always spoke my mind and never apologized for it!
