What’s the best online course you’ve ever taken?

Wow, how ironic, because this past Monday I started my next journey into my career path even though I am fully retired, so I have plans. In other words I am going for my Doctorate in Information Technology, but I had a journey getting this far. I guess you can say that it all started with my interest in the Signal Corp. for the United States Army as a 25 Lima Cable Systems Installer/ Maintainer. After I got out I was just a stay at home wife until we decided on a family and I would eventually get the nerve to apply for college, especially after I discovered that I had the talent to write html and css code for Web Designing. I realized this after I had been using Myspace back in the day and I would research ways to upgrade everything and eventually I took an interest more and more. So one day I looked at Web Design & Interactive Media for my Associate’s of Science from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. 

I know it asked for a course, but seriously all the courses that I took when it came to using programs such as Adobe Creative Suites like Photoshop, Illustrator and all the other ways of creating and making art. I remember I wrote a code for a music player that would showcase the artist and an album or photo of them and below are little buttons that can be clicked for listening to different songs made by that artist. I also loved creating carousels of photos that I would take along with learning the finer points in how to create animation with various programs that were made available. Overall I had a blast earning this degree, but that was the start of my IT career. Eventually I would reapply for another school and I would choose Information Technology as my background. 

Aside from having the brains that I have, I am also an artist and aside from having a background in photography, I use the skills that I have acquired to create the things that I do,  whether they are physical or digital. That is probably the main reason that my blog looks the way that it does and how I am able to change things without any problems. Sometimes I also do hand drawings and I know for a fact that this is something that I got from my family, alongside some other gifts. Now in high school I would have to say that the best course I had was the elective that I was allowed to take and it was from the University of Oklahoma and I was taking sketching and art. It was all mail in and I passed like nothing, all A’s some B’s. Reasons why my classmates hated my talent, because there was nothing that I couldn’t do. Overall I love learning new things.
