What’s your favorite meme?

What is my favorite meme, well I guess it would have to be anything that is Army related or even military, since all us branches like to pick on each other, especially when it comes to the Airforce! But they are the smart  ones, but I have met several Airforce personnel and they have said that their service is sort of boring, but it seems like it goes fast when it needs to, but I mean it sucks to know that no one is volunteering for any of the branches, because their older family is telling them the way that they were treated after Vietnam, Desert Storm, etc. We are supposed to come home as heroes and should be treated like the people who really protect the country, but yet the country shits on them. I mean yes I am a veteran as well, but from what people have told me, is that I am a humble one, but when I do mention it  sometimes, people get tripped out.

I guess you can say that my favorite ones are the ones that refer to what we call”knife handing”, because we do not point. I especially love when people get creative with the memes that they create. Aside from the Airforce I guess the next ones would be the Navy and then the Marines. Especially those Marines that cannot swim, yes there are some. I even went to school with someone that joined the Navy and she did  not make it and well she didn’t know how to swim either. For some of us Army, we usually look at one of our comedians named Drew Hernandez and he makes skits and funny scenarios that deal with the Army. The best one is when he reports to HQ that he is being knife handed by a higher rank. Then of course you have those memes that come from the great military movies that we have out there. The best example would be “Full Metal Jacket”, then you have “Jarhead”, “Basic”, etc.

Overall we all experience crazy situations when we are in at that moment, but I never regret that I joined and served, I just wish that I was able to fight back when the horrible situation happened to me. I mean I had just graduated from high school 5 months prior and I already lived through my first bad encounter, but luckily for me I had people that cared and they were mainly fellow soldiers, because I  knew for a fact that my family would be of no help, because even until this day I am still treated as if this is my fault, but when the funny ones  are out, you know that they have my attention!
