Well this is a fun one for now, because I have gotten out of the motion of writing, especially when no one reads the ones that have a lot of information that deals with various people I know. For this I am referring to the concert that was in Albuquerque at the old Isleta Amphitheater on the 24th of March. At the time I decided to book a hotel closest to the concert area and what better place than to go to the Marriot Hyatt Place which is near the sunport, so we went ahead and headed to the concert area around 1730 and unfortunately they did not let us get in until 1930. Of course the concert did not start at 2000 like they were going to, so it started at 2100 and aside from that I think they were missing some of their performers and that is why they had to start late and also why Peso could have been pissed, because of ICE at the sun port at the time. Surprised to see that I could purchase alcohol at the concert and so I had a mixing cup of tequila.
When I purchased the tickets, I have never been to this place and so I went with my lucky number and some letters to get the best seat that I could, which when we got there were perfect. Seats in row T, but in section 4. Great thing is we had these people in front of us that I happened to use my gift of gab on. Funny is at first I was thinking great I need to watch my husband, but after I started to talk to them they mentioned that they were from El Paso. I also happen to notice the fact that these were the same people that we saw check in at the hotel that we did. So we had a group of people that we started chatting with and having fun together. There was even a point in the concert where we got to get a good hit of weed that was being passed around in our little group. I wish I would have gotten the information of these people, because they were cool.
So no matter where I go, there is always someone interesting to talk to, but the funny thing is the fact that I can speak to anyone. I mean growing up, yeah I may seem like I was shy, but truthfully I had this gift from my mom. I just wish I would have opened up faster and then maybe I would have not that much of a bore to my so-called friends that really never paid any attention to me, but I was always there just being me. Either way this is one of the best concerts that I have been and I hope to go to others in the future. If you like corridos, then you will more than likely enjoy tumbados or music from Peso, or Junior H!
