About Me!

What can I say except that I go by the nickname Joker, and this is incount of the fact that Joker is my favorite villain, but yet I also think he could definitely call an “anti-hero”. I also happen to love the colors Green and Purple. Other than the name I go by, my real name is Alicia Castaño, I am 42 years old, a full-blooded Navajo from the Navajo Nation. I am also a United States Army veteran, I served from 2001-2002 during Operation Enduring Freedom, where I was stationed in South Korea.

After getting out it took some time to realize I needed to go back to school, so I started out with an Associate’s in Web Design & Interactive Media, which I obtained 2012, then in 2015 I got my Bachelor’s in Information Technology, and in 2017 I finished with a Master’s in IT: Security & Assurance. I worked at Gallup Indian Medical Center as a Housekeeper first and after all my schooling I worked as an IT Specialist and then retired. However, I am all about raising awareness when it comes to those military personnel that have experienced MST (military sexual trauma), because this is something that affects your overall daily performance, especially if you have to work with the individual everyday. I try to raise awareness through my other social networks, but I am here to help, because I have dealt with years of depression and trying to commit suicide, so I know and understand. I am also writing a book about the life I have lived and hope that it can help others who are stuck, confused, and feel like they are alone when they are not!!!
