Tito Rottie #4

Of course you’re probably like, WHAT THE FUCK how did you have so many rottie’s well we came upon Tito I think when he was up for adoption at the Humane Society on Fred Wilson. When we got him he was about 6 months as well, but he was a little odd looking, but cute and pure. I say this because when you would first look at Tito, the first thing that comes to mind is a baby calf. However, he is the one that looked out for the other two rotties, but he was always the one that protected our little girl. He was probably the reason why the other two acted like they were kids, when in fact they were way older than him.

Tito got his name in the cutest way, because it was something my daughter called him, because she used to say that Tito El Bambino was her boyfriend and so we dubbed him Tito. He wasn’t around very long though, because at one point we saw our neighbors that had a dog in the front yard, but we had called Animal Rescue on this family because it was pouring rain outside and was on a short leash, so short he couldn’t even drink water from his watering bowl. So I guess the people came over and I guess the people asked who reported them. I saw with my own eyes that he had pointed to our house, so I knew that they knew now.

Sucks because Tito was just a youngster, with many lives ahead, but because of us caring for an animal that was not ours, the neighbors punished us in their own way. So Tito’s favorite place to sleep when we lived on Artesano was in front of the window that was our daughters. So if you looked out the window you could see any of the dogs laying there, but since Tito was the little ones protection he stayed there. One day I was calling Tito and nada, I asked my husband if he had seen him and he said that only in the morning when he went to work. I guess during that time Tito was already dead, because after awhile I had to go look around. Eventually I would find him under the baby’s window, but he was now dead and stiff in the sleep position he was left as. Eventually we would find out that the neighbors had poisoned our dog Tito and that is why he passed. I guess they put something into raw meat and threw it over the fence. Miss you also papa, but he is still around in our hearts!
