So I have not been posting in the last couple days because I was on vacation in Nevada and I have gone various times to Laughlin, but my husband and daughter just had their first encounter with how it is and they loved it. My husband wants me to book again with the same hotel we stayed in this past weekend. I love that everything is just a walk away, well if you used to the elevation. I say this because that is something people forget is that the elevation has different reactions to people. Normally I am in a high elevation like 7500 feet above sea level and Laughlin was about 4000, so I was sore after walking one day and it hurt the second day, but I kept going.
I brought my family here because we don’t like to be in places that are too crowded and I wanted them to see a downplay of the real Vegas and that is what they enjoyed. I mean it has changed since the last time I was there, but they didn’t have any movies that were interesting, but back in the day I did see “Alien Resurrection” in the Riverside Hotel theatre, so I am a traveler, bonafide nomad, so I try to share what I have seen with my parents and also checking out new scenes here and there. Some of the new places that I have been and one of my favorites happens to be Zion and walking through the river was an awesome experience. At one point I planned a trip for my family, because that’s where my daughter wanted to go the most.
The place I am referring to is New Orleans, well that happened in 2021, it was great and it seemed like we would have a better standing after taking my husband’s nephew and mom with us on the trip. So we traveled from El Paso, Texas to San Antonio, Texas and stayed there one night and enjoyed the river walk, next day we went to Dallas, Texas and here we went to a huge waterpark and then finally we went to New Orleans. Also I forgot to mention the fact that we had gone to Six Flags, but this was one place I had been before, so it wasn’t unknown, but I sure did enjoy the Joker ride. When we came back we thought that my husband’s nephew would want us to help him, but he is every bit as stupid, snobbish, and backstabbing just like his so-called mom that pops out kids and doesn’t take care of them. That’s really showing what others think of, you made yourself into more of a stereotype, aside from actually looking like you from India rather than Mexican. Sad, but our current trip ended when we got home today, so now back to the days of creating and just being us.
