Day 1 The Beginning

Well the title states the obvious, but I had stated I would start on the first of the new year, but the way that I am. I have to start with the first day of the week and workout 5 times during the week, or replacing it with some other form of exercise. My start weight when I weighed myself this morning, which I do every Monday, I am at 199.6 lbs. So I am actually off to a great start and it has motivate me to start. Of course I am starting out slow, especially since I need to get use to rehabilitating my ankle to giving it more trust. Just the same way I did when I was going into Basic and I had broken my collarbone and that was something I really needed. Especially when it came to doing push-ups as well as when I am carrying my ruck sack! I should have really posted this last night, but my pills kicked in.

Some of the exercises I am doing come from an app called “Mad Muscles”, which I am using the military calisthenics to get back into shape. I did a 10 minute workout that consisted of forward walking lunges, wave push-ups, mountain climbers, burpees, and box handstand walking. I am also making sure that I drink up to 32 oz. a day. Eventually I will move up everything, but for now I am starting and I know myself and what I am capable with, so no worries. I always come out stronger than before. I guess it is a great thing that my dad named me after a hurricane!
