Well truthfully to start with I started with the show Sex and the City when I was in my Senior year of high school. Also when I joined the Army. After that I will say that Ghost Adventures has kept me sane, even in my darkest moments. Of course I am a hardcore Horror fan, but I also really enjoy the paranormal and I do believe in ghosts. I only say this because when I was like 11 I had heard a cat meowing and it was weird at the time, because my cat had just died. So I was led to the hallway going upstairs and when I looked at the top step and there was a small orange kitten meowing. After that I ran outside and tried to stay away for a bit, but eventually I got the bravery to go back, after that I had never seen anything else, but that made me a believer.
In the beginning when I started really watching paranormal shows I started with Ghost Hunters, but it seemed like they never caught anything as well as finding out that they were fake. Also they don’t consider orbs paranormal. So when Ghost Adventures started I really got into it and have been a fan that continues to be a fan. However the first instance of the paranormal was when I saw the Sallie house on Unsolved Mysteries. There was even a show that they had on MTV called Fear and they would have these people search and do tasks in various haunted locations, but I don’t think they should have stopped, but they did. Besides Unsolved Mystery I just had to be patient and find Ghost Adventures. I enjoy any and all shows that Zak and his crew has made like House Calls, or Haunted Museum. I think if I stopped watching I would probably go completely psychotic.
I also enjoyed Destination Fear with Dakota Laden and I watched up until it was cancelled, but now I follow them on Youtube on their channel called Project Fear. The great thing is when there are no Ghost Adventure shows I turn to Project Fear, but now I am thinking of joining the Fear Club, but we will see. For now I am happy to be able to watch various paranormal situations!
