Well first off, is that I am eclectic, and with music it has to do with the various genres of music that are out there. To tell you the truth about the music I started with was Country, which is what my parents have always enjoyed. However, I have been around it so long that I know some of them old artists. I have even been to several country music concerts, of course the favorite singer for me is Neal McCoy. I have also seen George Strait, Alan Jackson, Tracy Byrd, Tim McGraw, Claywalker, Rick Trevino, Aaron Tippin, Brook’s N Dunn, Ronnie Milsap, etc.
Eventually I would find out about Rap and R&B. My first cassette rap tape was from MC Hammer. Then I discovered MTV, unfortunately my dad had deemed it bad for me to watch, so I had to resort to watching when I wasn’t home or when my parents would go for groceries and necessities. Aside from rap, I would also discover Rock, Heavy Metal, and much more. My earliest memory was sitting in my baby chair, while my brother Bob had me watching what I remember as Poison. I would then collect CDs with a variety of music, but mostly rap since it was high school. I would listen to 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, Cypress Hill, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Ice Cube, evolving with new and new music.
Eventually after years of traveling and listening to music, I would have to say that my all time favorite music would have to Reggaeton, because it’s got that Latin beat that makes you want to shake your cinturas. My all-time favorite artists would be Alexis Y Fido, because I would fall for Fido. Now I am very into Bad Bunny and he was brought in by Alexis Y Fido! If not I would resort to the music that kept me sane when I was overseas and that is Linkin Park. Chester Bennington has always been apart of my life, I have made it through the shittiest shit and his voice motivates me, but when he passed it was like my heart was ripped out. Overall I like various forms of music to include, jazz, opera, alternative, numetal, and even dark metal. When it is chaotic and I want to sort of escape from my body and mind, I turn to some Marilyn Manson.
